Hi Len, we just came from
Cape York, left Musgrave this morning and Loyalty Beach yesterday morning, in
Atherton ATM. The roads are open up the Cape, mostly in good condition, there are some sand washouts between Capt Billy Landing to 20kms approx North of
Fruit Bat Falls. 55 kms South of
Coen the road goes bad until about 170km from
Laura, road improves about there. There are plenty of crews working on the Development and
Bamaga roads. Cheers, Kanga.

What's not open on the Cape will be soon as the Main Roads Dept are sending more contractors back in starting Monday 23/5.We are doing the Archer River to Lochardt River road.

G'day all
according to the DMR website, the roads are open to highclearence and 4x4 vehicles up to 5 tonnes.
Does any body have any knowledge when the roads will be open to all traffic. I have a Isuzu NPS 4x4 camper weighing 5.8t hanging around
Mossman for the road to the cape to open to all or at least to trucks over 6t.
Greeings
Adrian
