I have added additional maps to my Hema 5 in the past but I didn't keep a link to
the steps involved.
Does anyone have a link showing how to add maps to the micro SD card in it?
Very frustrating.
The way I'm going I'll be able to hide my own
Easter eggs next year....

G,day Bushy!
Can you link your Hema to the PC.
If so, just copy and paste the maps into the Map directory on the SD card.
Another way is to remove the microSD card from the Hema, insert it into a "Transflash adaptor" creating a standard size SD card, then installing the SD card into a card reade rand copying and pasting the maps via Windows Explorer.
For those readers, (like me) who have an earlier model Hema and cannot directly connect their Hema to a PC running Windows 7-64 bit, there is a fix.
My Hema is currently with Hema Australia to have the USB port upgraded to fix the interface problem. Takes approximately 3 weeks turnaround and is a free service.

Sandman....query on the "off chance" that you will know seeing you have been in contact with Hema....do you know if they will upgrade the software on the H5 (ie remove Route 66 and install the new piece of kit) - for a fee of course?

Hi Patrol22,
My info is that some can and some can;t change to the new IGO maps. There is a serial number cut off and only Hema can confirm this. Best to call them with the serial number you have.
Mine is IIN5A1209001207 and CAN NOT be changed.
