Would have been a great flight, that's for sure.
We are not out there until late August, but can not wait, hopefully winter rains will be less this year.

Thanks for sharing those unreal images. It looks like it will be another wet desert crossing again for those venturing out there this year.
I can just hear the ghost of Captain Charles Sturt right now....

Yes we start heading that way on Aug the 19th :-)

And I was joking when I said that we most probably will not get to cross the Simpson because we do not have a boat.
