Could advise be given on the means of removing the roof rails from a Pajero NP, to allow installation of a Rhino Side Load boat rack.

Hi Don Pedro,
We had it done when we had our Pajero...took it to the local ARB 4WD place in Nowra and paid for them to do it! When we traded it we had to get the side loader fitted to the Navara....more money!
Sorry can't be of more help to you.
Regards,
Heather

Hi Don
I submitted an earlier query re fitment of Rhino HD track system to my NM Pajero. I was originally under the impression that the headlining had to come out.
Forum members say that the track can be pop rivetted onto roof from the top. This does not seem quite as professional to me. Is it really strong enough for the loads that a tinnie would produce ???? Also what about corrosion ????(drilling holes in roof panel).
What have you decided to do. Are you aware of the real load that can be placed on the roof. Rhino tell me the track system is rated at 100 kg. I assume that this is just a static rating. What is the real load when you are thundering along a corrugated road, or ripping along in a head wind at 90-100 ks ?
I am having second thought !!! (you ????)
Regards Barry.

As asked in the other thread and not answered
What is the legal load limit on the roof of the vehicle you are talking about.
