Thanks Damien, they are colourful aren't they.
My bird book tells me that they can be found in a big arc around the coast from about
Broome across the north and down the east coast and across to almost
Adelaide and extending
well inland. But I have never seen one here on the NSW southern tablelands, or along the NSW coast.
