Hi all,

Are the kml files used by Google Earth for waypoints ?

Are Google Earth kml files used to import waypoints to Oziexplorer from Google Earth ?

What are kmz files for ? Google Earth gives you the option of saving files as kml or kmz .

Thanks,

Willie.

KML files are the "Keyhole Markup Language" files that contain the geographic data for Google maps.

KMZ files are KML files that have been zipped up or compressed to make them smaller for electronic transfer.
