Technically they are Aussie "made". They are put together in Ballarat (if I recall correctly) but I believe that most of the bits are sourced OS - China I assume. So depends on your definition of Aussie made.

I have bought one very recently - that recent that we have yet to use it.

For the price the quality is fantastic. There were a couple of minor issues and they sorted them out bloody quickly. As an example one of the slides on the battery box was a bit damaged - they sent me 2 new ones that are of much better quality than what was on there.

We looked at a few of the cheapies and this one certainly looked heaps better and was better equipped.
