Hi Jim,

I am also cruising the Hay River Track in mid-July. We will be running North to South leaving Batton Hill about Wed 13th. We are very much looking forward to Lindsay's Tour. Other than the link to Jol's recent post (which you have already been made aware of) I have no idea of track conditions either.

Our party is two GU Patrols. One towing a flash TVan Murranji and the other (the poor one - me) towing an off road box trailer type camper. We have planned to carry enough fuel to exit via Dalhousie in the event that the Eyre Creek bypass is still not open.

If we manage to cross paths please say Hi

Hi Vince,

We are coming up to towards Batton Hill aiming to get there on the 14th so we should cross paths. We are a party of 7, all with Oztents. We will probably camp in the same area at the end of the day on the 13th. Will listen out for you on channel 10.
