noisy bearing

Does anyone know how hard it is to change the pulley bearing in an air conditioner compresser? Is it a job for an amateur mechanic or should I leave it to the Pros?

Steve,, I would leave it to the pros, its an easy enough job if you have the tools. The bearing is in behind the clutch but you need the proper puller to get the pully off the shaft. There is also an electrical coil behind there for the electric clutch and unless you have the proper tool you may damage the coil.
