Hi all, we have "joined up" as business members and now we can help you guys out if needed, well try our best to anyway........
For those that dont know we are on the Savannah Way in the Gulf of QLD, about 100 odd kays West of Burktown, the "town" is actually a Aboriginal Community of about 1200 people, we get cut off completely in the wet for up to 3 months at a time so can be termed isolated, it is a very nice place to live and we are extreamly lucky to be able to live and work out here and see places that one can only get to see by living in places like this, Melissa (wifey) and myself have 3 kiddies, 3yrs James, 7yrs Amy and 11yrs Daniel, they are the luckiest kids in the world i reckon ................
A little bit about the roadhouse...
Open from 8-30 to 5-00 weekdays and 9-00 to 4-30 weekends...... Please do note# we will not under any circumstances open up after hours, reasons why i wont go into here :-) but if you do get stuck give us a call anytime at all and we will do our best to help you .....
We have a fairly good range of automotive gear and getting more in each delivery, we carry some trailer parts like bearings ect
We have a range of camping and fishing gear...
We have a basic range of grocerys ...
Yes our fuel is expensive and we dont make a great deal on it so we dont get upset if you dont buy fuel ...
All in all we would love you to call in and say hi and most of all just have a safe trip if coming up this way,,..
Cheers all from Joe, Mel & kids

Good on you Joe, Mel & Kids and we hope to drop in on you guys sometime in the future as we meander around the place.

We have finally bit the bullet and checking out the bottom end of WA, where we end up is anybody's guess for now but your area has to be getting close.

Regards
Paul & Fiona

Good onya Joe & Mel, also Daniel, Amy & James.

You guys have been valuable contributors to this site for a while, and now that we know where to find ya, LOL.....even more so.

Would love to get back to that part of the world sooner rather than later.

Spent a bit of time on a sheep station "Beeantha" north of Nelia, as a young tacker, about Amy's age, a looooooong time ago when the folks worked the outback in the 50's.

Hope it goes really well for you, and you get lots of EO members come by.

Fred.

Good on ya Joe,

We will have to pencil in a trip to your part of the world now I guess.
Now there is another excuse to get away.
All the best and I hope to see you one of these days.

Cheers, Bruce.

oe and Mel, how thoughtful of you to post this welcome "Hello".

We plan to be coming your way in about three weeks or so, and will definitely call in to say hi. Probably call you before hand to see what the road conditions are like, as well.
