$199 ($200 off).
I'm not in the market but that's got to be a seriously good price.

While I like Garmin equipment, the 1490T is not one of Garmin's better models. For $199 it would be OK.

I bought trhe 1490T about six months ago for $299 including Garmin's Topo Off Road maps for Aus and NZ plus a "Lifetime" free update for the street maps. It all seems to work OK and while it may not have all the bells and whistles of some upmarket models it all seems to work OK.
I would be interested to hear what your reservations are.
