They didn't say, just that one of their party had to replace shockers with spares they were carrying. Evidently they had heaps of other water, so the split tank wasn't a drama either. As to fuel, they didn't elucidate. I got the impression that it wasn't so much heavy going, more like slow and tiresome because of the corrugations. They did say that from time to time they stopped to simply have a break from the relentless rattling. Sounds like any rig will be tested, which is what you should always plan for.
