Go to www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au
They have all the fuel prices from around the state for today and after 4pm for tomorrow as
well.

It doesn't matter what the fuel price is dude - if your going there, then you are going to pay whatever it is.

How true. If you need it you pays and takes your chances.

Yeah, we realise that, but it's like walking around a corner knowing there's a something coming the other way. You have a moment to brace yourself.

Think $2.00 a litre. Anything less is a bonus. You will be paying more in other
places believe you me!

I just looked at
Meekatharra. $161.99 to $169 a litre. No prices for
Wiluna but I should think similar.
Happy travels.

Crikey....!! No wonder all those guys are riding around on push bikes dodging road trains :)

When on holidays, I do not really care what price fuel is.
If I was to worry about prices, then I haven't prepared for the holiday properly.
Gotta have it, so just get it, cop it and move on.
Think of it that way, and it is a talking point to all the "want-a-bees"when you get back into mainstream life.
Cheers

This is true Bucky,
But it is a little annoying when you get fuel at one place in the town, only to find that there is another servo in the same town selling it for 5c or even 10c a litre less.
I would prefer to have the knowlege rather than driving around the town trying to find the cheapest price.

Kalgoorlie is between $1.57 and $1.63 at the moment for diesel.
Leonora as of yesturday is about $1.63.
Wiluna is usually upto 10c dearer than
Leonora.
We recently came back from holidays up the Mid West coast and paid $1.70 in a few
places, so i would expect to pay upto $1.80 in
Wiluna.
If you are passing through
Leonora (About 230km North of Kalgoorlie and 300km south of
Wiluna) in the next few days, The Eagle Petoleum Roadhouse still does not have any Eftpos (its been down for over a week), but there is an ATM to get cash out. There is however a
Coles express over the road if worse comes to worse. Otherwise there is also a BP at Leinster (just off the hwy about 170km i think south of
Wiluna).
Hope this helps

There is self serve fuel using your eftpos or cc at
Menzies but it didnt seem to work too
well earlier this month when I was there.
I paid for $10 but the bowser stopped at $8 and the (m/bike) tank was only half full

Personally i would not rely on the Servo at
Menzies....i have heard alot of people often have trouble with it - best not to even count on it even being there.
It has only recently gone to unmanned credit card station.

There was about 20 of us on bikes cursing and trying to work it out and eventually someone came out of the building and sorted it out.
I checked my cc statement and it seems I was charged the correct amount.
Then we got to
Sandstone and had the same problem again LOL
I think the
Menzies situation will have to improve as there are rumours of major mining expansion in the area
