Will rechargeable batteries work in this GPS please?

Rechargeables work this this unit pretty
well but carry some Long Life alkalines with you in case they die.
If you have a power addaptor for the eTrex you should be aware that it will not charge the rechargeable battery. Current draw is about 80mA if the Backlight is off and about 125mA when the backlight is on.
