Kununurra ABC radio this am that the
Kalumburu road is now open.
We have been camped on the
King river waiting (and catching the odd Barra also)

Hi Mike,
did the ABC Radio Report have the
Kalumburu Road open all the way to
Kalumburu? It has been open as far as
Drysdale River Station for some time but the Shire of
Wyndham has said that it is unlikely to be open to
Kalumburu until early July. Initially they said it may not even open this season. Photos on their website of people standing in washouts higher than their heads suggests some very significant damage.
Any more reports Mike?
