Can anyone help??

We have a coromal camper which has dodgy tracking when you try to slide the door up into the roof to pack it up. The tracks that run the width of the roof are alll pop riveted.

Our question is does anyone know if you can remove the piece that slides on the tracks without actually removing the tracks as it needs a repair.

We tried to ring coromal at Nowra for some technical advise but their response was "we don"t make money on technical advice" - typical, we have bought heaps of stuff from them and customer service was virtually non existent and that was from the owner of the business.

Thanks

Jayne.

Hi, the timber board is mounted on standard sliding door runners , there is also a piece of vinyl that connects to it and the door through 2 pieces of sail track, the vinyl is locked into the track with a couple of screws , remove them and door will be free of the board , you should be able to carry out any work needing to be done, if the rollers are at fault , I think you can pick up replacements at Bunnings or any good hardware store, hope this will help , cheers Bill

Forgot to mention that you should not have to remove the sliding track from the roof ,just had another look at my door track , if you drill out the pop rivets on the stops at the 4 ends of the track there may just be enough space for the board to be slid off the ends ,Bill

Hi Jayne. A relative of mine is good friends with the original owner of this business. I believe he is semi retired now and his sons manage it. I have forwarded this page on to my relative to show their friend. Not much help to you but at least they should know what bad public relations can do for them. Cheers,Bob

Hi Jayne,

I would recommend you phone corrimal central coast, and ask for Scott Irvine or his wife Kate they will definately give you some advice, we recently bought our 3rd corrimal from them, I go to caravan shows and like a van and say to the hubby lets sell our van and buy one of these, we have ordered a 511 magnum, and they could not do enough for us, they have won dealer of the year 2 years in a row.

Good luck Jayne,
