hi all, we are travelling from Melbourne to Burrum Heads near Hervey Bay, with an overnight stop at Albury. We are planning on another 2 overnight stops on the way. We are leaving the van at home this trip so we are looking for overnight stops at maybe Coonabarabran and Dalby, we have kids and dog so we need pet friendly accommodation. If anybody has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

There is the Badgers website which can tell you which Parks are animal friendly. That may help.

The Oxley C/P in Coonabarabran is pet friendly, and right in the centre of town.

Gidday petermitch, just a little clarafication ??? when you say 'pet freindly' ??? there are penty of pet freindly parks along the way, BUT you have to have your own accomadation, as they do not allow pets in the parks vans or cabins, so it really depends on wether you re looking for tht type of set-up which would be very rare.
