HI
Am I wrong in saying that the theme for the photo comp is "objects that was built by man",there is a lot of photo's that do not adhere to this .
I was just browsing before voting starts next month.
Do we still vote for any of the photo's.
Cheers Cliff

Youve got it reggy, the theme is 'a man made object in the bush'.

Just where the 'bush' is is the subject of lots of discussion, but there should be a man made oblect in the photo somewhere.

There are a few there that don't qualify unfortunately.

Yes entries that do not satisfy the theme will not be considered.

have to agree
I'm no photographer so dont even consider entering these comps but it would seem to me that a very large number of the entries were submitted just to show the prowess of the photoghraper as they obviously dont come close to meeting the criteria/theme of this competition.
will be interested to see how the voting goes but must admit i havent seem many shots that would have me waving my hand at an auction.

perhaps the cull of the ineligble photos should come before the voting starts

cheers

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame people run around loose with a camera. Maybe they
should have to be licensed.

RecMec,
I have no problem with people taking photos In fact I wish I had the skills and equipment to take quality photos like nearly all those that have been entered.
My comments were pointed to the fact that a lot of the photos entered could in no way be considered within the theme of this particular competition.
licencing not required perhaps reading lessons are.
cheers

You are right about the theme not being in the news letter but when the photo comp started earlier this year it was stated then
