Hi All

Just seeking some advice.

My 06 TD landcruiser rear right side wheel squeaks when in motion. It seems to stop when i brake so i think it may be the indicator letting me know the pads are due. Is this correct? I havent had the car long, but it has been serviced twice and brakes were not mentioned as requiring attention. Any idea's before i go pulling off wheels to check the brakes.

Thanks for the help.

Phil

you will find a pebble stuck in the brake pads.

Do you only hear it when travelling slowly?

If you have the Landcruiser rims that have a centre cover (the ones you have to remove with an allen key) then this may be the noise you can hear.

Just go and remove the cover, then replace and do it up.

This happened to me and my local tyre man new about it and we solved the issue in 2 seconds.

Something to do with the cover not sitting probably into the rim.

Have you checked the wheel nuts?
