Hey people,
There is a leak coming from where the two pieces join on my exhaust manifold. The factory manual illustrates that there is an o ring and two clips and what looks like a thread that joins the two parts. I have had the manifold off before and tried to seperate the two parts but didn't have any success. They just turned without much resistance.
Can anyone please shed some light on how these parts are seperated please?

Could be worth putting extractors on it mate, solve the problem and get a bit more power.

I am considering that option. I will be keeping the existing exhaust until it wears out, then won't go any bigger than 2.5 inch. I fitted extractors and 3 inch on my old 47 troopy and noticed a loss of grunt down low. slightly better top end and slightly better fuel economy. Looking at some for $230 landed atm
Cheers.

That is the downside to extractors on a 2h, but 230 is a good price, wish I could get them for my Jack at that price.
