G'day Dasmeg
Been mucking around with my GPS gear all weekend, working things out. I am not familiar with your particular Garmin, but had a look at a review on Google, ... it appears to be a good GPS, but auto routing only, as far as I can see in what I read. That would mean no option to use your self created tracks, or routes.
I could be wrong, it's just the way the review read. I own a Tomtom One XL, and your Garmin looks to have the same sorta features, but a bit more modern.
Hope for your sake I am wrong, Cheers, Dave

the 3790T also has route planning but its not transferrable to and from mapsource, I have tried it both ways.

It runs great to and from my Garmin 60CSx and 60CS, and runs tracks etc from all my garmins not the routes to the 3790T tho.

I actually like it just as much as the 3790T, without the annoying voices, just a beep is all I need, and it will do both street addresses with city navigator as
well as geocaching and all manner of other GPSing. great unit
