Hi all,
I use Google earth to have a look at
places I am likely to visit mainly for campsites and fishing.
My problem is at the last auto update I have lost STREET VIEW.
Can anyone advise a solution as it is good for seeing turn off's etc.

Hi Dodger, Streetview is still there but I didn't like the new version so I went back to the old one.
In the new one just put the cursor on the little man and drag him to the site you want to see, then you just move along the road and the view will change ,
Didn't seem as clear as the old camera one and not as easy to see where the camera shots are taken from.
You can delete version 6 and down load version 5.2, if you have trouble finding the old one , let us know and I will give you the exact selection instructions.
Cheers Des.

My Google Earth is 5.2.1.1588.
Have you lost all the lables like Borders,
Places, Photos, Roads etc or just streetview?
The Streetview checkbox is under "Layers" in the Sidebar.
Under "View" in the top Toolbar you can turn the Sidebar on and off.
This might have happened if you cant find the area that shows Layers.
Hope it helps
regards
Bernie

Hi Berniec, It is only in "6" that the little camera's are missing , even when it is ( Streetview) ticked they don't show the little camera's when you zoom in,
Mine is the 5.2.1.1588 the same as yours and it is Ok.
Cheers Des.
