Our Around Oz trip for 2011 has started.

Currently in Derby, tomorrow we go on a Horizontal Falls tour and on Monday we head up the GRR.

We are towing a Bushtracker van and travelling with friends towing a Spinifex. Sing out if you see us, we are on UHF 18.

Trip report on my blog:

Hi Stephen; only 4 weks till we're on the road as well.

Re the Falls, make sure your tour coincides with a reasonable tide. If the tidal chnge is not that great it's picturesque but not awesome. However, if it is low they should take you to the second fall as well (it's too dangerous on a large change).

Safe travelling.

Hullo John,

I understand about the tides but it's a case of get our bums on seats when we can.

Everything is fully booked everywhere: tours, caravan parks, you name it.
