I am in the market for some sheep skin
seat covers for the front seats of our new Pajero. Our previous car had them fitted 10 years ago for $700 and they were great. I was slightly surprised to get quotes of $2000 locally.
New cars have airbags in the seats so special stitching of
seat covers will be needed.
A search of the
forum gave a couple of suppliers that have gone out of business.
Can anyone with recent experience suggest anyone in the
Brisbane area that
I could ask?
Thanks
Dave

Hi
We have just had a set fitted to our Prado with side air bags in the front seats at Perigine at the sunshine coast at the sheep shin and Opal Nursery.
Cpst $325 set fitted top quality as the back and seats are one piece not bits sewn together.
Other quotes were from $450 up to $700 set.
Can highly recommend them.
Regards
Ted G

Hi Dave,
While not being in
Brisbane, I bought some sheepskin car
seat covers from a business in Wantirna (
Melbourne) called "Mercedes Sheepskin Products". Here's a link to their website:
Car seat covers
They were great to deal with. I have a 100 series Landcruiser, and their covers are custom made for each vehicle - you just specify your vehicle make, model, year, colour you want, etc on the order, and they also cater for side airbags.
I went for the 25mm fleece, and find them great. Prices are also very competitive - see their website - and they have free shipping within Australia.
Good luck with your purchase.
Cheers, Mark.
