Thinking of heading out for a fish this weekend - can anyone provide an update on where the
tailor are biting?
I heard they were firing down northern NSW/
Gold Coast a few weeks ago but haven't heard much since.

They are still on the goldie. I haven't seen too many reports from the sunny coast as yet. Having said that I went kayak fishing off Caloundra on Sunday and the
mullet netters were camped on Kings Beach so logically the
tailor must be around there too.

Quite a few around Bribie at present. If you have a boat try down the southern end of passage early morning or late afternoon. You may have to look for them, watch the birds, the fish are there.
