Hi everyone,
Can a few of you suggest a nice play to stay between
Brisbane and
Airlie beach for an overnight stay. Not taking the camper trailer this time round so would be staying in a cabin or similar. Can either be the coast way or inland.
Cheers Gary

Hideaway Bay CP near
Airlie Beach.
Great people running it, not crowded, not over-organised, great prices as it's off the beaten track. Not overdone as so many in the popular parts are.
Too good for just one night - stay a couple.
Cheers
Frank

Benaraby is roughly half way on the Bruce. Stayed in a cabin at the caravan park there a number of years ago. Nice afternoon or morning walk along the river.

Cabins are great at Benaraby! and if you're a Big4 member its cheaper. Midge Point caravan park is also a winner. Not far from
Airlie Beach (50km) But
well worth a visit. Great fishing too
