I have a Nissan Patrol gu ute, 2006, with coil springs in the back.

I have had heavy duty springs and shockies fitted on the back which apparently gives a 2" lift.
However because of the weight I'm carrying, my back end is sagging below standard height.

I only want to bring the back up a bit above standard height.
Would I therefore have to buy the standard height airbags or do I have to buy the ones with 2" lift to fit?

Looking to order from trucksprings.com based on the info of a previous thread but want to make sure I order the right ones.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah mate, that was the one.
Sounds like most were happy with their purchase from o/s.
I just need to find out wether to order the standard height bags or the ones with 2" lift.

Apparently the Patrols have an inherant problem with the coil spring hangers, and lots of weight. It may pay to get them checked too, looking for cracks, and I would suggest you get them reiniorced, whilst you are working on them.
I would be checking Poly Air bags, that slip inside your coils. A Mate has them, under a 3" lift in his patrol, not too sure weather they used spacers, or the bags were longer. The air bags stopped the sag, but he cracked his handers/locators, due to the extra stress caused by the weight he permanently was carrying.

I have HD springs, and a lift kit, on my Patrol, but do not carry much weight, except when we head bush, or the outback, but we do tow a Camper, so the vehicle is not loaded that much. Hoopefully, and so far everything is holding up.
Cheers

Thanks mate,
I have heard of having to get them reinforced.
I might have to get that done as well.
