Gday
We have had Dave B and Nora here for the night. I am
pretty sure we made them welcome , cos they were happy to leave.
Nice to meet you again and have a chat.
Will try to see you again in Silverton .

Either way, The interpretation of "Happy when they left" could be a matter of conjection.
Like the old saying, Some relatives give pleasure when they arrive and others when they leave.

I must say thanks to Muzbury and Kath for your hospitality.
We were debating wether to stay for a month, we had a real good night.

Your offer of hospitality was out of the blue, but was very much appreciated.

All going well with the new horse Muzbury.
cheers

Dave
