Hi All
Am considering having fitted 12v fixed solar panel/s to our caravan.
Has anybody had recent experience from people who have bought and fitted these - any details, cost and recommendations etc would be great.
Thanks, Richie.

Hi Richie
I have found Challenge Batteries in Osborne
Park very knowledgeable and competitive in solar and batteries. Getting someone that actually knows about solar is the first problem I found in WA.

Hi Richie,
We too are looking into solar for our van, so have also been doing the home work. As we have had solar on our previous van we know a little about it.
Try WA Solar Supplies, they seem know their stuff. They will sit down with you and work out how much power you need/want and work out the best set up for you.(2 other
places we made enquires at didn't do this with us) We reckon we will get them to do the hard stuff, but plan to do a bit of the work ourselves to help reduce the costs a little.
Good luck

Hi All, many thanks for the replies.
Neil and Pauline, Challenge Batteries have recently got out of the solar panels - too busy on the battery front, excellent Coy for battery service.
Will now start to make a few enquiries, regards, R.
