Log in -Remember my details

I have been meaning to ask this question since the last format changes. I can never seem to activate the "remember my details" for log in. Am I missing something? Is there a secret button to press? I always have to type my full email and password to get in.

A search revealed no threads on this subject. Other forums that I use usually have an easy "self fill" option that works every time.

Hi Kingsley & On Patrol.

I had the same problem some time ago. I contacted Adele at E.O. and it turned out that I had Cookies disabled. That cured it. Also there is a check box "Remember Me" in the same area when you log in. Try that as well.

Gidday Steve,

I use Firefox for a browser and have all of my forums are in a common bookmarked folder. I go from one to the other and the only one that asks for a fresh log on is ExplorOz. I can't find a Cookies switch in Firefox. Auto Complete is selected on (Internet option in VISTA). I always check the "Remember Me" box in the log on.

I just had a thought: I will reactivate IE8 (even though I don't like it or IE9) to see what happens there.

Very confusing.
