Thats it Wilko give'm a good rev up, LOL.

I hope we can have more than one vote.
The Bells line of road from Kurrajong to Lightgow should be 100kph all the way
The speed limit on the Harbour bridge is faster than most of the Bells line!!!

Yes, Newel highway back to 110 at end of month.
This may upset the 'never exceeded speed limit in my life brigade" as most of these travel under the speed limit by 10 to 15 kph.
We can now overtake them without the risk of getting pick up by mobile radar or chasers.
There is no indication that reducing the speed limit reduces accidents.
In my observation speeding in excess of the posted limit in my area has not been a factor in any accidents and there has been a lot of accidents some fatal.
They are mainly fatigue or inappropriate speed for conditions, excluding stolen cars and police chases.
therfore my theory is the most dangerous people on the road are the ones that do not exceed the speed limit.

That the fireworks begin.

I'm with you Honky. I've no drama with the slow brigade - a lot of whom do the right thing and let you through if you are obviously travelling faster. It's the ones who let a line form behind them that cause most of the angst - for which a simple look in the mirror and a wave through would solve before the line builds up. Then there are those who happily sit in the line with no intention of overtaking - at least if they do this they should leave a gap between themselves and the car in front so those who want to overtake can do so more safely than having to round up multiple cars at once. It used to be callled road manners.

Hi Honky
The Newel hyw problem was with trucks limited to 100klmph,now you can pass the trucks with out exceeding the speed limit.

I think what gets up most drivers noses is to many speed limits in one section of road from 40/50/60/70/80/90/100 the bells line is one.

And the roadworks in progress at 2.00am in the morning, workers are so fast, they go faster than speed of light which makes them invisible

Why should drivers be forced to do 40kph between 6.00pm till 6.00 am or whatever speed restriction, 60,70, when one can seely clear no-ones working, plus over the Xmas break, when absolutely no-one was working, the speed signs were up for 4 weeks and no activity at all, like other Aussies, the workers were on holidays too
