When we travelled in our Supamatic with the kids we bought one of those pipe framed doublebunks with canvas "slings" to sleep on for them. To pack up we just took the uprights and legs off and laid them flat on the double bed.
By having the bunks we still had enough floor space to "live" in if the weather was inclement.

I'm not sure what a "cub offroad spacematic" is, but we're travelling with kids aged 2, 6, 8, and 10 since January '10 and I'd be happy to help with any questions you've got on the kid side of things.

As far as showers go, I'd actually make sure you've got a tub that doubles as your washing basket. We fill that with water for the littler kids to bathe in -- much less water and less stress than a shower.

Kids bedding -- each kid has their own bed in our caravan. They get one box that they can keep their belongings in at the end of the bed. We got a waterproof protecter that's quilted on top and only about a meter long ... as it's quilted with normal material on top if a child wets you can just throw that straight into the wash instead of having to do the whole lot. Of course, we've still got the waterproof sheet under the normal sheet, too, just in case, too. The kids just have a there normal bedding other than that, though they all do have a quilt that is quite special to them as it was made by Grandma before we left -- that's great to have something of their own.

Hope that helps, please don't hesitate to ask me anything.

The kids need a small DVD player with screen to send them to sleep when there cranky! these great gadgets also give you time out to enjoy a glass or two without chasing them around or watching over your shoulder.

Cheers.
