Measured water tank after pump(electric) stopped pumping and took 45 litres of water to overflowing. Does anyone know if 45 LITRES is standard size of watertank? Hear talk of 70 and 80 litre tanks. Thanking You.

For that size and year Jayco 45Lts sound about right.
Most of their vans at that time would have had 60Lt which was pretty well standard for most brands back then.
You could update to a 60Lt for a couple of hunded if you fit it yourself, but remember it will take awy 15 Kg from your personal weight load allowance.
You maybe able to fit a 75Lt, but the extra wight of the water will not only take 30 Kg from your allowance, but put you close to the Axle load capacity or GTM.
Cheers, Ozjohn.

Thanks very much Ozjohn0. Will probably leave as is. Load is already on border as good wife wants everything on board. What threw me on the whole thing was the GENERIC caravan manual said 60 litre water tank and it seemed to go so quickly even with real care. Thanks again to Muzbry and Ozjohn0 for your help.

We don't get more than 4 or 5 days from the camper . Depending on whether we wash or not .
