G'day Ian
If you haven't already done so have a read of Lozzas thread number 87850 on his experiences with tyres.
It's quite interesting.

G'day Ian - to go bigger you will need a 2 inch lift ! I have an RA rodeo with the lift an now run 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson's. The combined lift ( big brand name ) and tyre package has given the rodeo 3 inches more ground clearance than standard and drives a treat on road and even better on the dirt. Not sure about the legalities but haven't had any issues with the police over the 6 years since it's been done. Hope this helps !

Happy travelling

245 75 will fit and give you a bit more clearance. I was forced to go 245, as there aren't any mud tyres in 240.
They are more than 15mm bigger though, so make yourself aware of the legislation.

I have been running 245/75/16 since two months after mine was new in 2006.

Work well slight increase in clearance, but the "longer legs" in the higher gears on the highway are noticeable.

I just replaced the Good Year Silent Armour with Michelin LTX AT2 wich suit the car very well.

I also have the 245/75/16 on my 2007 RA Common Rail rodeo - I have a 3" lift kit.

They are 25mm bigger then the originals & speedo will increase by 4k - So when doing 104 on speedo you are doing 100k.

I was thinking of the 265/75/16s but they are 50mm bigger and speedo error would be around 8k per hr. Also would not be able to fit the 2nd spare.

Cheers tony
