Hi,
Has anyone got any suggestions re: maps of 4wd tracks in Tassie, which sort are good one's to use?. There are a couple in the
ExplorOz shop one being a paper fold out type the other is in book form, has anyone used any of these?
We are going to have a couple of weeks there at the end of Sep. and I would like to explore some of the more out of the way
places if we can.

Hi Trev6
I have used 4wd tracks in Tasmania / Off Road Tasmania in the past and found very informative. The author is Chris Boden.
Hope this helps

If you're here for only a couple of weeks be aware that although, on the maps, the island doesn't look that big, it can take a while to move from one area to the other. That's not including any 4WDing.
Taswegians can't tell you how far it is from place to place, but we can tell how long it will take to get there.:)

Thanks all for your help, there seems to be a common thread towards the one sort of book, I think that's the one I will get.
