Gday
I was just playing with EO
treks for the trip to
Silverton. The trip starts in
Melbourne and takes me 21000 + km to
Silverton, Oregon, USA. I am told to Kayak across the ocean to Japan and also to Kayak the Pacific to America.
My question is, when do I have to leave
home to go to the gathering in September?

You will have to leave straight away.
If you haven't paddled an Ocean Kayak you will have to learn on the way over.
Just make sure you take some photos so we can all have a laugh when sitting around the
camp fire when at
Silverton.
I reckon you will be in the running for the longest distance to
Silverton competition.
Good Luck.
Cheers

Muzbry, the other day it was suggested I go to Google Mapping and get directions from pretty well any city in China to Taipei in Taiwan. Please read up the 28th direction I think it was which suggested I swim the Pacific Ocean was the next direction.
I guess that was realistic for many cyclists in China :-))) One has to imagine it would be good reason why Google websites are blocked in China, giving ideas like that ................
