GU Coil cab weights

can anyone please tell me the Gross Vehical mass, tar weight etc for a 1990 GU coil cab trayback Patrol 4.2td thankBorn to drive a 4x4 , not a keyboard

Peter. From what I can work out. Kerb weight = 2030kg and doesn't include tray. GVM = 3150kg. Therefore payload = 1120kg minus the weight of the tray fitted. I've got one with a big heavy steel tray, and even with OME springs and polyairs theres no way you would carry a 1000kg safely, even if you could get the weight foward of the axles. You'd go a bit closer if you went for an alloy tray. Because the coil cab uses the standard patrol rear axle, the payload has been kept down. The leaf sprung ute has a higher payload of 1270kg.
