G'day,
Anybody know if Nardoo Stn. is still open to travellers as I cannot get any return from emails or phone calls, plus which has best price for fuel,
Bourke or
Cunnamulla ?
Thanks
Harry

We passed Nardoo Station three weeks ago with plans to stay. We could not get the phone number we had to connect. On passing the property it was all closed up, the gates looked to be locked and it certainly did not look as though it was operating. Needless to say, we did not stay. We did stay at Evening Star Station in
Charleville and paid $28 for a powered site for two and we were very impressed and can recommend. The fuel price at
Bourke was $155.8 per litre for diesel.

What a shame. Stayed there for four days a few years back and used it as a base to explore
places like
Eulo. The 40 degree spa was an absolute delight at at dawn with the temperature outside around zero. Kids still talk about it... shame they won't be able to go back. Can highly recommend the Evening Star as
well. Plenty of
open space, great fire at night, friendly owners and kids.

The former owners of Nardoo Station are looking to establish another
Farm Stay at their new property just south of
Eulo ;)
Cheers Kev
