hi,i was hoping someone with some knowledge could help me with information on my carbie .The motor is a 3f which runs fine but loses power and likes to pretty much stop,hills are a problem.Any info would be much appreciated.

Start by cleaning your fuel filter , that might let some fuel into the system.

I second this suggestion - we always carry spare fuel filters - and need them!

Gday mate sound like a accelerator pump issue just drop the air filter tube off the carby & with ya torch have alook down the top ya should see a good fuel stream from the side of carby and a mist from the middle as ya rev it
try that and let us know cheers Tom

Clean the carby out! might be a slightly clogged jet.

I had a FJ 40 with a 4.2 2f motor a long time ago & put a 500 Holly Carby on it, try this if all else fails.
