I am looking for a single draw that will take up about half the width of the freight compartment of my Jackaroo. All I have been able to find in a web search is the DIY units from Offroad Systems where a single draw looks as though it would do the job, with a bit of improvisation.
And can anyone tell me? How are these units normally attached to the vehicle? Simply bolted through the floor?
Thanks.

Have a look at Black Widow. They have a range of different setups.

Try Luke from Drifta, his gear is top notch...we love the stuff he has made for us. Also very reasonable.

Hi Kevin,

I secound Jim from Best off road. He designed mine to my specs. If it can be designed I'd say he can make it.

Good quality good service and personally designed, it worked for me.

Cheers Wilko

G'day Kevin, there is a two drawer set on Ebay for a Jackaroo, that may be suitable for
modification. At Tewantin, QLD, 2 days to go, currently at $180. I have no association
, just a Jack owner always looking for toys. cheers....oldbaz.

Found it and added to my watch list although it is much bigger than I want. But if the price is right it still has possibilities.
Thanks,
Kevin

Mark, you did well. Good set up. Yes, building my own is an option. My biggest obstacle is that I can't weld but I suppose I can get that done for me fairly easily.
Thanks for the pics.

With joints glued and screwed? I've had a closer look at your pics and see what you mean. Looks like an effective method. Thanks.

Kevin

the joints are a tight fit.i applied some crc to the plastic joiners and carefully tapped them in with a hammer. you could put a pop rivit into them but i found there wasnt any need to,as they havent worked their way out and they have been in there for some time now.

Interesting to note that a blog has popped up on the home page today for a member named Draw Slide who have a range of sliding products including a range of single draws that can be grouped into almost any configuration that you may want.
The options keep increasing. Talk about a mine of information.

Hi Kevin,

You can try my website www.drawerslide.com.au

I can supply you the slides/handles and hardware if you want to make it yourself or I can supply you a pre-fabricated drawer system which would be $599.00 Inc GST per drawer unit delivered to all capital cities or close to Australia wide.
