In your situation I would go for a TRigg or a Treg.

Hi SKL,

I have an OZHITCH fitted to my Vista Crossover RV. The hitch is made on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

I had a treg hitch on my old camper and find the OZHITCH much easier to connect and because of its low profile it doesn't get in the way of my barn doors.

I also have a Vista Crossover RV that had an Ozhitch, to be honest I absolutely hated it. I found that unless you were on very level ground it jammed whaile trying to drop it in.
I have now changed it to a Vehicle Components drop on hitch which is a pleasure to use.
I don't think Vista will persevere with the Ozhitch.

Have a look at a Trailer Components DO35.

Similar to a treg or trigg but drops on like a ball. Much easier to use.

Hi SKL,
This might be of some help to you.
off-road couplings
I've an AT-35. haven't had any other type except for a 50mm ball coupling, work trailer, horse float, so I don't know any better I guess. It was on the camper when we bought it.
Cheers

HI SKL,

Have a look at McHitch as well.
I saw them at the recent caravan show and they struck me to be extremely robust and well manufactured.
Cheers
