Gday All,
Has anyone been on the
Savannah Way between
Burketown and Borroolala lately? Just wandering what the average travel speed would be on that section? Thanks
Julia

still has
water on the road at various crossings, Robinson is @500mm rest are at 300mm and under, very sharp entrys/exits on some so be careful as they sneak up on you .... tops 80-100klmhr probally av 60-70klmhr for whole trip some parts very soft snad/bulldust as trucks carting cattle, if you see them STOP and drive off and let them pass, keep in mind that they are travelling in 2's or 3's with 3 trailers on each so just drive way off the road, get out and have a cuppa and give them a big wave ..... 2 mins between each one ..
Cheers
Joe
