Can some one please advise which CVP in Melbourne is best to stay at the night before sailing to Tassie.

Looking for somewhere with easy access to the terminal without low bridges etc.

Cheers,

Hints for the crossing to TasmaniaHi Cruiser

Probably mentioned most often within the threads Mick has shown links to: Ashley Gardens Holiday Village Braybrook. Not cheap, but very convenient.

For a brief description and link to their website and other basics you need to know see: Hints for the crossing to Tasmania

Gooday, Mark from Ballina, went to Tassie last year, stayed at Ashley Gardens, spotlessly clean, good security, next to shops, on bus routes, very helpful staff, even heated shower block floor tiles, very easy to get onto ring road & down to docks, get there early as no parking spaces, make sure no fruit on board, feed up before & take own food on as prices are filthy, have a wonderful time, we did, would go again tomorrow with you, just need more travelling dough....hope we helped...........
