Although significantly different, both petrol and diesel engines require a steady flow of air to operate. If the vehicle is not fitted with a snorkel,

Is there any snorkel for petrol ns pajero swb? ARB and TJM near my home both have the diesel one not for petrol. otherwise is it possible to get a costume one?

sorry but I have to ask-what is a "costume one"? like costume jewelry?

Dont hold me on it but I vaguely recall that there is no snorkel made for one of the Pajeros because of resonance or some such reason?

The diesel snorkels fit the petrols - there is no difference. For a while TJM and ARB refused to market them for the petrols because the snorkel brings the noise of the engine intake resonance up near the drivers ear. So long as you are OK with the noise issue (which reportedly isnt that bad) you can go ahead and fit one.

Yeah realized that myself afterward sorry! Some 4x4 only require " costume" snorkels though!

was asking safari and airtech, they can put the diesel one on mine, one thing I dun know is the noise? what the noise will be like? slight louder or "turn to diesel sound"?
