Jan, you must have a very good reason for going south in October.....we're all up here in Qld enjoying the sun.
However, if you are hell bent on doing it, what will you be travelling with, caravan, tent, just a car or flying in?
And is there a reason you need to be around carrum Downs?
Cheers,
Sheps

Two cps in Carrum Downs - both Discovery Parks from memory, the one closes to Frankston has some ensuite sites I think, and the other one, is not very big, but friends stayed there with their fifth wheeler earlier this year, bit of a squeeze, but they got in. The Big 4 in Frankston is very popular - friends have stayed there , it is behind a Shell service station, corner Moorooduc Road and Robinsons Road.

Some of the parks around Dandenong etc., have a lot of permanent dwellers, - but I think one called Twin Bridge on Frankston Dandenong Road, South Dandenong, looks ok.

Hope this helps.

We are travelling to melbourne with our caravan. Yes we went north last year & Vict can be cold late Oct/Nov but it can be hot also. There is no reason we have to be near Carrum Downs so I am opened to any suggestions
