We were at Dalhouse two weeks ago and quite frankly a plague is more than an overstatement. Yes you would seem them and you need to take care with food etc but a plague, as in the ground is moving there's so many of them! Sorry but not in our view

Yes they're thick on the ground but there are rats as
well. I had to tuck my trackies into my socks to keep them from running up my legs. I still got two inside my jacket (while I was wearing it). They ran up and over our tent all night - sounded like raindrops. But they're everywhere in central Australia - once you get above
Alice Springs there aren't any.

What about Mount Dare? Are the mice bad there?
Phil
Good to be back after seven weeks in bed and then two weeks in hospital. Picked up a staffo bug and it very nearly won. Lost all the beer gut also. 10Kg in 4 weeks!!!
