Hello Everyone,

A long time lurker who is finally posting..

I have a spare DTS turbo system (MTQ) kit suitable for 60 & 70 Series 2H 4 litre diesel. This is due to a rather unexpected turn of events, and in short, I know have another 60s & engine and the turbo is not needed. It has only been used for 3 months and works faultlessly; however, what are the chances of selling a (no matter how shortly) used turbo?

Please, what are your opinions on this? Has anyone done this before, and if so how and where?

I would really appreciate your input, Chris

I think by 'strange' he really means it is advertising on the forum by stealth!

You'll sell anything if the price is right. Why don't you do a check of ebay and other sites like Patrol 4x4, LCool etc then put an add in the EO trader section. There will no doubt be websites that sell 2nd hand vehicle parts so that will give you an idea at where to pitch price-wise. You might want to check the forum rules as well just to be on the safe side because I reckon if you start talking price and stuff on here, the post will disappear pretty quick.

you'd be surprised what people will buy when you think it either won't sell or won't be worth much. i recently sold my Mickey Thompson MTZ tyres which were over half worn for $600 for the 4 of them, which i thought wouldn't happen.
as mentioned already, jump on a forum specific to the make of vehicle it suits (you may need to join up first) and post an ad up for free, or even just post it on forums such as here or other 4wd forums.
