Hi all, could someone advise me on the quality and use of the
ALKO 10" SOLID POWER MOVER..
As Im getting older now 76 , need to move my Viscount Aero Lite 1983
without much effort.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the one with a pneumatic tyre and find it makes the van much easier to move.
I do believe the solid rubber tyre would be an improvement.
For an aero lite van it would be a snack to move it.
Our van is an 18ft Jayco twin axle and it moves mine easily over concrete.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

I had one of these for my Jayco Swan. They are OK if the ground is level and is not wet. In terms of pulling the van to the vehicle to couple the two together, I find a large heavy duty ratchet tie down strap much more effective as these will work even if the ground it uneven and the van is downhill from the vehicle.
These ratchet tie down straps are available from Bunnings for about $30. Make sure that you get heavy duty one with a long ratchet handle.
I would try one of these before getting the ALKO solid power mover.
If you relax at a faster pace you can get more relaxation in for a given time.
Regards Rob
