We are rugged up in Maroochydore. Freezing mornings.

This is almost half way on our trip, Perth to Perth. Up to Cairns soon then it's homeward bound via NSW and parts of Victoria.

Some notes and photos here:

G/Day GB

The Stage Coach ride at Longreach is interesting.
We went for a ride on it last year, also at full gallop out in the common area.
Did you have to wear those Ear Phones?.

We also did the Qantas Wing Walk, very interesting.

Some of the roads out there leave a lot to be desired, they can't blame the wet weather as they have been like that for several years.

Cheers

Hi GB

Sounds like a great trip. I did the Longreach thing a few years back and it was great. Sounds like they have even upgraded the plane tour as we did not get a wing walk or an engine photo.

Even the Stockmans Hall of fame seems to have some added extras.

Keep on enjoying yourself while the rest keep working I guess you have earned it.

Cheers

Come on Gone Bush, Maroochydore never gets cold. The Sunshine Coast Council spend billions of dollars each years in advertising to convince people of the great weather here. You potentially in a single stroke have wiped out tourism and livelyhood of thousands of sunshine coast families.

Had a quick look around and cannot see you in Cotton Tree CP. Are you staying here, Alex Headland or Big 4? I am in the Cotton Tree park.

I'm in Maroochy Palms, down near the lake. We take our van to BT on Monday morning for some work and come back here to a cabin until Friday.

Then it's north bound.

They have a great swimming pool but as it is too cold you might not be swimming in it? Just down the road to town under the freeway bridge is a good fishing spot if you fancy a walk there.

Can be hard to get onto a site there, especially with a 4WD van.

I will wander past and say Hi.
