Well im no expert, but used many over the years, best explained this way, after a joyfull trip though the day and you are a little tied you start looking for a suitable place to stop ,eith for a night or even a day or to, they have showers,
toilets,a
shop normaly and friendly people available to answer any questions about their area, and this includs the nearest fuel station for a quick check, befor heading off again.
